“ Their papaya salad is the freshest ever. I come here all the time. It's casual and quick. Sometimes I even grab a banh mi for work. Also their soup is reasonably priced and healthy. One of my go-to quick health take out meals is the papaya salad and soup combo. ”
“ Best Banh Mi in Town - A Must-Try Spot! If you're on the hunt for an incredible Vietnamese sandwich, look no further than DragonEats. This hidden gem serves up some of the best bánh mì I've ever had, and trust me--I've had my fair share! I ordered the pork bánh mì, and from the first bite, I knew I was in for something special. The baguette was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside, holding together a mouthwatering combination of tender, flavorful pork, pickled carrots and daikon, fresh cilantro, and just the right amount of heat. Every bite was an explosion of flavor--savory, tangy, and slightly sweet, with a crunch that made it even more satisfying. The sandwich was generously portioned, making for a filling and satisfying meal. And let's not forget the little details--perfectly balanced seasoning, fresh ingredients, and that classic bánh mì magic. It's the kind of sandwich that leaves you thinking about it long after the last bite. On top of that, the service was friendly and quick, and the atmosphere had that cozy, welcoming feel that makes you want to return. If you're in the area, DragonEats is a must-visit. Don't sleep on this spot--you'll thank me later! ”
“ Food: 5/5 I love how fresh the make the banh mi. It's very tasty and I always go here for the beef banh mi. We also love the shrimp rolls here. Price: 5/5 It is a little bit pricey for banh comparing to other stores but I think it is worth the few $ more extra as they give a lot of vegetables too. Service: 5/5 Every time I go here they are very welcoming and friendly. They always accommodate everyone right away. They are also fast! ”
“ Usually by the time we're in this neighborhood, this spot is closed. So we were very keen to try it the one time we arrived while it was open. I tried the duck sandwich and instantly loved it! The duck was so tender and juicy. It tasted just like the duck I'd get from Chinese bbq duck spots. It comes with a sweet chilli sauce that I didn't think was necessary so I'll ask to omit it next time. I'm definitely going to try and come back in the future. ”
“ Wow!!! I didn't expect anything amazing, boy was I wrong. I had the duck banh mi ans that duck meat was stoopid good!! It was so flavorful and moist! I want another one now! ”
“ Super nice super fast and super delicious absolutely fantastic! Just happened to walk by looking for a good vegan lunch and fantastic ! ”
“ Solid place for banh mi - this is the best spot I've tried in the Bay so far. The banh mi is extra thick and stuffed full, so a half sandwich would be sufficient for lunch. I like that there's a decent amount of seating inside, so it doesn't feel too crowded despite it being a small space. Service is pretty fast at this place too, so even if there's a line, it's not a long wait time to get your food. ”
“ Maybe it was because I had just finished a 25 mile e-bike tour of the city, but my sandwich was amazing! we had the roast pork, garlic butter chicken, and roast duck. All of the sandwiches were great, service was quick and friendly, and the price was great too. The only thing that caught us off guard was the jalapeños on all of our sandwiches. Mostly manageable but the kids didn't love that part. Great little neighborhood spot with stools and a small area to eat. ”
“ My favorites: duck banh mi (although protein is a little scant), 5 spice chicken banh mi, and tofu bowl. All excellent. Personally, I didn't care for the traditional pork banh mi. Found it a little tough. The sandwiches are all fresh. Would recommend! Great value. Reasonable prices. ”
“ The green salad with papaya is one of my favorite, affordable salads ($10 +tax). It's always fresh and delicious, with papaya, cabbage, carrot, daikon, celery, cilantro, mint, peanuts, and crispy shallots. This location is cute, but I wish this location offered the option for white chicken (this was dark meat) and gave you sauce options (although I do prefer the default, the fish sauce) like the Hayes location. ”
